What programs does IIEC Business School offer?
We offer two types of Certificate Programs:
- Executive Programs — for current and aspiring C-suite leaders, such as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Program or the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Program. Upon completion, you earn an Executive Certificate.
- Professional Programs — focused on a specific field, such as the Cybersecurity Certificate or the Project Management Certificate. Upon completion, you earn a Professional Certificate.

What is the difference between Executive and Professional Programs?
Executive Programs are designed around a C-suite role and combine role-specific content with core business areas such as strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership. Professional Programs focus on a single field and are shorter.
Who accredits and issues the certificates?
All programs are accredited and all certificates are issued by the International Institute of Executive Careers (IIEC), a US-based certifying body established in 2012. IIEC Business School delivers the programs as IIEC’s official training partner.
Is this an academic degree?
No. IIEC Executive and Professional Certificates are professional credentials, not academic degrees. If you are looking for a university degree or an academic MBA, these programs are not designed for that purpose.
Is the program self-paced?
Yes. The program is 100% online and self-paced. You can start whenever you want and study anytime, anywhere.
How long does it take to complete?
We recommend completing your program within 6 months, but you can finish in as little as 90 days.
Can I register anytime?
Yes. You can enroll at any time and start immediately.
Is there an exam?
Yes. Each program includes a certification exam of 40 multiple-choice questions. A score of 60% is required to pass. At the end of the program, you also complete a final assignment in the form of an article.
What happens if I don’t pass the exam?
You can take the exam up to three times at no additional cost. After the third attempt, each additional attempt has a fee: $39 for Professional Programs and $97 for Executive Programs.
Are there additional costs for the final assignment?
No. The final assignment is included in your program.
What will my certificate show?
Your certificate shows your name, the program you completed, the type of credential (Executive Certificate or Professional Certificate), the year it was issued, and a unique certificate ID.
Will I receive a physical certificate?
You receive a digital certificate, which you can download and print. Each certificate includes a unique ID that employers can verify on our Verify page.
Does my certificate expire?
No. Your certificate is yours for life, with no expiration date and no renewal fees.
Is there an alumni community?
Yes. After completing your program, you become part of the IIEC alumni community.
How much does a program cost?
Executive Programs are $2,000. Professional Programs are $700. The tuition fee includes all program content, the certification exam (up to three attempts), the final assignment, and your digital certificate.
